The story began with an old exclusive recipe. As tradition has it, in the 18th century, in the municipality of Mombaruzzo, Ameretto, a sweet made of sugar, bitter and sweet almonds and egg white, was made for the first time. The bakers prepared this soft sweet with a golden crust mainly for the noble and rich families of the region, who in turn served it to their guests, friends and relatives on special occasions. In 1955, Franco Vicenzi realised his dream in Mombaruzzo and started producing amaretti in a small bakery of a few square metres. The years passed, the generations followed each other and the small confectionery became a company that could keep up with the times without forgetting the values inherited from the founder.
Today, as then, Cavalier Vicenzi produces the amaretti according to the same recipe and with the same care as back in the 18th century. The result is a wide range of products with different flavours, worth trying and able to satisfy even the most demanding consumers.
Amaretti Morbidi, small masterpieces of the Piedmontese baking tradition with a unique taste, which stand out for a secret ingredient: The passion with which they are baked.
