Good news for rice cake lovers: Leib und Gut’s organic rice cakes with sea salt have been awarded a “very good” rating in the latest rice cake test conducted by Kassensturz, a Swiss consumer television programme. Scoring 5.7 out of 6 points, they ranked among the best products tested.
The study focused on contaminant levels in the products, including substances such as arsenic and acrylamide. Ten popular rice cake products sold in Swiss stores were analysed. Only four products achieved the highest rating of “very good”, including Leib und Gut’s rice cakes. This makes Leib und Gut the only Swiss brand to receive the top distinction.
