Aarts Conserven has been preserving fresh asparagus, cherries and pears since 1934. Aarts is proud of its long history in Lottum, Limburg. Quality and craftsmanship have been the pillars of Aarts Conserven from the very beginning. This can also be seen in the logo: the red seal is the hallmark of a quality product from Aarts.
Aarts is best known for its delicious cooked pears. The company has been producing this typically Dutch product for more than 50 years. Gieser-Wildeman pears from the Netherlands and Williams pears from Italy are used. Cherries are another important product in the range. The cherries used are mainly sour cherries, also known as “sour cherries”. Aarts is one of the few companies that also processes Dutch cherries.
The largest supplier is located just 15 km from Aarts. It couldn't be fresher!
The range is extensive: it includes not only asparagus, cherries and pears, but also figs, pineapples and apricots, for example.
