The company, based in Dronero, a small medieval village at the foot of the majestic Cuneo Alps, is the heir to the chocolate art of the confectioner Giuseppe Galletti, who invented the ‘Droneresi’ in 1905. The ‘Droneresi’, which was awarded at the International World Exhibition in Turin, gave Giuseppe Galletti the highest prize with diploma and gold medal: the exquisite chocolates with soft cream and rum liqueur became the founders of the happy tradition of pralines province of Cuneo. Aldea's production is linked to the centuries-old Piedmontese confectionery tradition and, thanks to the passion and commitment of the Martini family, the company's owner, is carried out with particular care according to secret recipes handed down from father to son.
