Founded in Asti in 1939, the company initially focused on exploiting the fertile region of Piedmont in northwest Italy, where the company is still based today. Saclà expanded and developed under the leadership of its founder, Signor Secondo Ercole.
Starting with the canning of vegetables, Saclà increased its variety of products and quickly became one of the best known and most advanced food companies in Italy with its vegetables in oil and vinegar or its olives in brine. Today, Saclà offers a wide range of products, such as pesto, pasta sauces and antipasti, which are not only sought after in the domestic market, but are in demand worldwide.
All products are made in Italy with the finest and freshest ingredients according to traditional recipes and without compromising on quality.
Saclà remains a family business, now run by the second and third generations of the Ercole family.
