Truffles are among the most precious delicacies that our earth has to offer. The black summer truffle, also known by its Latin name «Tuber Aestivum Vitt», is only tracked down by specially trained dogs during the summer months.
There are no limits to the use of these precious black tubers in Italian cuisine. Saclà is therefore now enchanting the Swiss market with a delicate truffle pesto to which cheese, soft cashews and pine nuts have been added. This pesto transforms the average into the amazing, the mediocre into the wonderful, the simple into something special.
It goes perfectly with tagliatelle or fettuccine, but is also recommended as a filling for ravioli or agnolotti and as a base for canapés.
